At Scotwork we employ over 140 experienced negotiation
consultants around the world. Six of these consultants are
resident in South Africa.
All of our consultants have experience in the real world of
commercial and business negotiations, and we have amassed literally
thousands of hours of unrivaled expertise.
Below are the biographies of the 2 Senior
Partners in South Africa.
Derrick O'Hagan
Derrick started Scotwork in South Africa in 1992. Since
then the company has grown from 8 programmes in the first year to
running in excess of 60 programmes per year. Clients of
Scotwork South Africa include many of the top 100 companies listed
on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Many of these companies
started using Scotwork for their training in the mid -1990's and
are still utilizing our training today.
Prior to starting Scotwork, Derrick was a Director of the
largest hotel chain in Africa. He was seconded to open
Scotwork in the United States for two years. Derrick has
taught the Scotwork programme in over 14 countries.
Kevin Tessendorf
Kevin has been a tutor with Scotwork since 1996 and became a
partner in 2001. During this time he has run programmes and
provided negotiating advice and support to clients in South Africa,
Kenya, Ethiopia, Cote d'ivore, Namibia and the USA.
Prior to joining Scotwork Kevin spent 2 years in the engineering
industry with Murray and Roberts. He then joined the food
service industry where he held various management positions with
the Fedics Group.
He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree
from Rhodes University in Grahamstown.
